Trustworthy AI Webinar: AI safety & security risk assessment

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly present in our everyday life, demonstrating, as with many disruptive technologies, a duality between the benefits of developing and using it, and the potential dangers and actual harms it may lead to. Facing an increasing number of AI incidents and hazards, organizations are indeed rightly concerned about the safety and the security of AI systems, and how to assess AI risks.

The task can be overwhelming. The rapid evolution and the growing complexity of AI systems requires continuously new practices to secure crucial AI assets, such as datasets and models, against a growing number of threats. Parallelly, assessing safety risks continues to be a considerable challenge, as safety can encompass many different dimensions (physical, ethical, environmental, etc.) and should align with human values. Finally, hundreds of fragmented and non-standardized methodologies and tools exist already today, which can discourage AI developers willing to assess their AI systems.

This webinar will explore the critical landscape of AI safety and security, tackling various topics such as:

  • Safe and secure AI development and best practices for developers
  • How to consider AI safety and security with respect to the AI Act
  • Practical tools and metrics to assess AI risks and case studies
