Human-Centric AI Workshop in Bucharest

ENFIELD has announced an open call for abstracts for its Human-Centric AI Workshop, set to take place on 9 September 2025 at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Central Library. The event will run from 08:00 to 16:00 (CEST).

This event not only showcases research from the ENFIELD project but also welcomes contributions from other initiatives and interdisciplinary efforts that are advancing human-centered AI. The goal is to bring together researchers, tech practitioners, and stakeholders to share insights, methodologies, and case studies that promote collaboration between humans and AI.

Key areas of focus will include cutting-edge explainable AI methods, tools for evaluating shared decision-making between humans and AI, and the societal impact of AI-powered decision systems. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss solutions for building AI systems that are understandable, trustworthy, and focused on human needs.

Those interested in participating are invited to submit an abstract of up to 300 words, detailing the focus, relevance, and key insights of their proposed presentation. Each submission should include the title, author names and affiliations, and the preferred type of participation. Accepted contributions will be featured in the official program and may be included in a public report following the event.
