As Artificial Intelligence moves from experimental labs to the core of European industry, the demand for a specialized workforce has reached a critical juncture. The next generation of talent must combine cutting-edge digital performance with sustainability, ethical responsibility, and human-centric values. This session will explore how ENFIELD has contributed to advancing AI training and literacy in Green and Trustworthy AI, while opening the discussion on the skills, gaps, and challenges that will shape Europe’s next generation of AI talent. It will also provide an opportunity for broader reflection on education, upskilling, inclusion, and workforce readiness, with the aim of inspiring collaboration to build a stronger and more future-ready AI skills ecosystem.

Prof. Dr. Adina Magda Florea

Professor at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Director of the AI Center
Adina Magda Florea is Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Director of the Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence of the university, and Director of the Romanian Hub for Artificial Intelligence (HRIA). Her research interests are in multi-agent systems, machine learning, ambient intelligence, social robots, and human-robot interaction. She is Senior Member of IEEE, Senior Member of ACM, founding member and President of Romanian Association for Artificial Intelligence, and President of the “Réseau de Recherche Francophone sur l’Intelligence Artificielle (RéFIA).”
