ENFIELD launches 4th Exchange Scheme Open Call

The 4th Exchange Scheme Open Call (TES#4) has been launched to support researchers in addressing critical scientific and technological challenges in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through this initiative, ENFIELD aims to fund mobility-based research exchanges, offering individual researchers the opportunity to engage in short-term research residencies within the network of ENFIELD’s Centres of Excellence.

The goal of TES#4 is to foster the development of Green, Adaptive, Human-Centric, and Trustworthy AI across key industrial sectors such as Energy, Manufacturing, and Space. The scheme seeks to support PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, senior researchers, and research groups willing to undertake 3 to 6-month residencies, contributing to foundational AI research aligned with research pillars and industrial domains.

Selected applicants will be expected to tackle pre-defined scientific challenges, detailed in the official Catalogue of Challenges, and contribute to advancing AI innovation across Europe.

Call opening: 25 August 2025
