AI on Healthcare Workshop
On February 11th, 2025, the 1st Healthcare Workshop was held in Budapest, Hungary, as part of the ENFIELD project framework. The full-day event gathered ENFIELD partners to present both completed work and ongoing research activities related to the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
The workshop featured several use cases that reflect the project’s multidisciplinary approach. This included ongoing research on ICU readmission prediction using AI models, aimed at improving clinical decision-making processes. Another case presented involved the use of wearable technologies for the AI-based detection of Parkinson’s Disease symptoms, focusing on continuous patient monitoring.
Additionally, the application of blockchain technology to enhance the security of medical records against AI-generated threats was discussed. The event facilitated the exchange of findings and approaches among participants and contributed to the broader objective of advancing responsible AI development within the healthcare domain. At the end, participants discussed potential advances and optimizations on the current work as well as the next steps necessary for the continuity of the project.
